Activities

  • Developed research frameworks for assessing program impact and effectiveness
  • Developed processes and instruments for monitoring the quality of in-service teacher training
  • Developed a training effectiveness index and data collection mechanisms
  • Led the further development of the program’s Logical Framework matrix, M&E framework (at school, district and provincial levels) and M&E plan
  • Assisted in the review of the program reporting system and implementation of the M&E plan
  • Developed research proposals and terms of reference for supplementary policy and evaluation studies
  • Supported the development and implementation of an early-grade reading assessment (EGRA), including technical advice on research questions, approach and methodology, and sampling
  • Analysed M&E data and information and developed six-monthly reports on results, changes in indicators, and progress toward objectives
  • Designed and delivered M&E training for program staff and for education administrators at national, provincial and district levels
